Many of the photos that were shipped to us have been picked up, but we do still have several that need to be picked up. We are aware that many of you were unable to get out to the SALL complex on Friday and Saturday because of prior commitments. Therefore, we will be at the pavilion in front of the concession stand with the pictures again on Tuesday, June 7th from 6:30 - 7:30 pm. To try to save you from making a wasted trip, we have compiled a list of photo packages that we have left. Please check the list for your child's name.
Please be aware that we have discovered many mistakes with the photos. There are several teams that we did not receive photos for. There have been several instances where the envelope for a child contained photos for another child. There have also been cases where the wrong name was printed on the photos. So, please, when you do get your photos, inspect them to make sure they are correct. Also, we did not receive any plaques in this photo shipment that we received on Friday, so if you ordered a plaque, it will not be in your package or you may not have a package. We are compiling a list of known issues with the photos, so if there is anything wrong with your order, please reply with that information and we will add it to the list.
Also, just as a sidenote, we have been trying to find out what lab the photographer is using, as he has blamed all of the delays and mistakes on the lab. We wanted to contact them directly to find out what the problem really is. When we searched the North Carolina address that the shipment came from, it came up as belonging to Ralph Wood, the photographer. We have sent another email to the photographer letting him know that there are items missing from the order and several mistakes, and we are waiting for a response.
